Biology Tips
-
Firstly, the short questions are very important.so it is important that
you know them well. The good news is that the questions are very repetitive.
So look over the exam papers and get practicing.
-
It is worth learning genetics well as this question comes up almost every
year and if you know it well it will cut down on your learning if you do.
-
Photosynthesis, respiration and enzymes are also very popular questions
and are very repetitive every year.
-
Experiments need to be known as they come up every year and questions are
generally asked on the experiments.
-
Graphs are also very common in the exam and often students are asked to
comprise their own graphs on statistics, which are given. It is important
to put all graphs on graph paper.
-
Animal and plant groups need to be well and the phylum in which they are.
-
Ecology is a very important part of the course but it is so vast that it
needs to be defined to one particular area of study e.g. the pond or the
bog land.
